Daily plant logs
One log per plant per day: times, well and master-meter readings, chemistry tests, effluent, pump hours and tower level — on a phone at the plant, even with weak signal.
Usage calculated for you
Yesterday's reading is pulled in automatically and usage, MGD and pump hours are computed as you type. A reading that goes backwards is stopped before it's submitted.
Flags and missing entries
Out-of-range tests, negative differences, unusual usage and late or missing logs are flagged at once and show up on the supervisor's dashboard.
Monthly and annual reports
Per-site totals, averages, maximum and minimum days, and the month-by-site annual summary — exported to Excel or CSV, or printed.
Adjustment tracking
Log flushing, leaks, firefighting and overflows by category so unmetered use is accounted for in the annual report.

Questions, answered
Who is MeterMate for?
Utilities, municipalities, water districts and contractors who coordinate meter reads, field readers, plant testing and recurring reports with spreadsheets or paper today. MeterMate Read covers meter routes and readers; MeterMate Water covers plant and sample-point testing logs.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Readers can open assigned routes, record readings, add notes and flag problem meters with no signal. Everything is saved on the device first — with the time and location it was captured — and syncs automatically when the connection comes back. The web app can also be installed and keeps working through brief outages.
Can contractors use it?
Yes. Invite 1099 contractors as Readers, assign routes, and send route-specific contractor agreements for e-signature from MeterMate. Readers only see the routes assigned to them, and deactivating a contractor revokes access while keeping their historical readings.
Can I have multiple plants?
Yes. MeterMate Water supports many plants, wells, reservoirs and sample points, organized into groups and regions. Each location has its own time zone, parameters and testing schedules.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Export readings, route summaries, exceptions, meter master data, contractor activity and water results as CSV at any time. Exports include audit metadata such as who entered a value, when and where.
What happens if I need both modules?
Choose MeterMate Complete — one subscription that includes both Read and Water with shared users, billing and audit history. You can also start with one module and upgrade later without re-entering anything.
